Head Students commonroom
Ginny was sitting in the arm chair by the fire as she was going over her course schedule. It had to be changed once she and Zabini had become Head students. She looked over absently a moment at the quiet and reserved man reading his own schedule and for a moment he frowned but then nodded to himself.
Ginny looked back down at her schedule and she like Blaise folded it carefully and placed it in her pocket. and decided she needed to get up and perhaps get something to drink. It wouldn't be long until the dinner chime would sound however and decided she might as well make her way down to the Great Hall.
As she rose it seemed that Blaise too had the same idea and he was moving towards the portrait door and they bumped into eachother as they both hadn't noticed eachothers movements. As Ginny made to stumble however, Blaise snaked an arm around her and set her to rights on her feet. For a moment they just stood there silent and looked at eachother. 
"You should be more careful."
Blaise muttered as he released his arm from around her as if he was bitten and he opened the portrait door and looked at her.Ginny for a moment did not know what to say but hesitated and Blaise sighed and gestured to the door. Ginny moved and Blaise let her walk ahead of him as they walked down the hallway that was almost deserted.
Only the sound of a twittering bird was heard as they made their way from the Head students tower and down the spiraling staircase that would lead them to the main staircase and down to the Great hall. Neither spoke as they walked. They were strangers for the most part and Ginny wondered as she walked why he hadn't let her fall. She looked over at him and saw he too was in thought as they walked.
"thank you for not letting me fall down."
As Ginny said this for a moment it startled Blaise who wasn't expecting her thanks as well as he noticed they had to walk pretty close to eachother down the spiraling staircase. As they walked further he had not even made a sound to acknowledge he had heard her thanks. As they got to the bottom of the landing however he turned then and raised an eyebrow at her in question."Just because I am a slytherin does not mean I am not a gentleman Miss Weasley."
This was all he said as he made his way past her and continued onward down the larger staircase and made his way down the stairs before it would shift again. Ginny for a moment looked after him and then just decided to let it pass and was soon joining him on the stairs when they shifted and both were pressed against eachother on the railing.
Ginny gasped as she and Blaise Zabini looked at eachother. For a moment neither of them moved as the stairs were still moving and a blush began to creep up on Ginny's face. They were pressed together in an almost intimate fashion. If anyone had seen them and not known the case in which they had ended up this way,they would think they were currently in an lovers embrace as Blaise's hands were on the railing behind Ginny and they looked at eachother.
Blaise moved as soon as the stairs had stopped and began to take the stairs as fast now as his legs would carry him. He wanted to get away from the red haired woman as soon as possible. He wondered why for a moment, a mere second he wanted to crush the inferiating Gryffindork into his arms. He also wondered why she had blushed as he knew that she did not like him.Hell she didn't even know him and he barely knew her other than the fact she was a friend of the golden trio.
Ginny was puzzled as Blaise made his escape and she felt she wanted an explaination as she had for a second saw something in the man's eyes.As she made to follow his example and deciding to break the ice and their akwardness with eachother. She saw his long legs made strides and soon he was farther ahead of her now. Ginny for a moment just saw he was hurried and wondered what had happened for him to act that way? He was almost to the base of the stairs now.
Ginny thought about it a moment trying to figure it out. What was it and why had she blushed and felt as if a fluttering had hit her stomach when he had not once but twice it seemed helped her from falling and possibly causing herself great harm? Had she really expected him to drop her? Did he now believe she was a clumbsy girl and why if he did believe it did it matter to her that she didn't want him to think that way?
As she was thinking this however she was interupted by the appearance of no less than her brother Ron and Harry Potter. They were both coming down the staircase behind her and as they passed Ron bumped her accidently and she found herself fall on her bum at the bottom of the staircase. As she did she growled and a hand came to help lift her up and as iut did she expected it to be Harry and she opened her mouth to thank him when she stopped and stared into the dark haired Slytherin's indigo blue eyes. 
"Hey what are you doing to my sister?"
Ron said now red faced in anger as Ginny rose to her feet and for a moment her hand was still in Blaise's. Ginny and Blaise looked back over at Ron and Harry who were both standing there. Harry seemed normal but Ron had his fists balled up at his sides. "Oh Ron shut up! He was helping me up as you knocked me down when you came down the stairs!Atleast he is a gentleman!"
As Ginny said this for a moment she was glaring at Ron who was glaring at Blaise. Harry cleared his throat as he saw that still Ginny was holding now Blaise's hand and for a moment the Slytherin looked down seeming to notice and dropped her hand as if it were on fire. "A gentleman?!? He is a Slytherin and the enemy Ginervra! Wait until I tell Mum and dad!"
As Ron was ranting Ginny shook her head and was about to rant back and ask him how he could be so childish when she had a better idea and she turned to Blaise and to his surprised she leaned up and kissed him on the lips. For a moment Blaise was stunned and didn't move a muscle but then to his surprise as well as Ginny's his arms snaked around her and he deepened the kiss. Both broke apart and Ron stood there with his mouth hung open staring in disbelief."You go ahead and tell Mum and Dad anything you want to Ronald! I don't care go to hell!"
As she said this she began to walk away from all three of the men and walked past the Great hall and went outside to the courtyard and sat down by the fountain and felt humiliated and angry.
Blaise walked away from Ron and Harry who had watched in silence and then grabbed Ron's arm from keeping him from hexing Blaise. 
"Take good care of her."
Was all Harry said to Blaise as he walked past him. Blaise did not respond but nodded as he made his way towards the direction she had gone to. As he approached he saw she was looking at her hands down on her lap and for a moment he hoped she wasn't crying. Blaise had so many questions and was about to open his mouth and ask them when he closed his mouth and looked away from Ginny Weasley.
Blaise for a moment thought about what she had done. She had kissed him.Ginny Weasley,pure blood and blood traitor had kissed him? It was true that he didn't think of her as a blood traitor and never truly had,however he knew that he had never thought of her at all even. Well he had but those were thoughts he didn't share with anyone. Not even Draco.
Now Blaise wondered what had gotten into her to kiss him in the first place. Was it she wanted to shock her idiot of a brother or did she like him? He wanted to ask this but one thing kept him from doing so. That one thing now walked over and grabbed his arm and he turned to look at Pansy who began babbling in her irritating way to him and he sighed and gave one last glance to Ginny and left and made his way towards the Great Hall Pansy following behind him talking a mile a minute.
Because I don't think she kissed him only to make Ron mad and prove him she doesn't care what he might tell their parents. I think it'll be interesting to watch Ginny and Blaise to get to know each other. Hehe
